Jill Markowitz

Hey everyone, I’m Jill Markowitz. I’m a rising junior from Queens, NY. I’m a human development major and an education minor. My activities at school include PR chair for Hillel and Panhellenic VP Communications. I’m really excited to go on this trip because it’s a fun and exciting way to do something really meaningful while also learning about a new culture, and of course having fun!

Naomi Drucker

Hi! My name is Naomi Drucker and I am a rising junior majoring in Landscape Architecture. I have always been involved in Jewish life on our campus and have gone to Israel and New Orleans with Hillel. I’ve really enjoyed participating in community service activities in the past, and am excited to do it again. I am also looking forward to traveling to Eastern Europe for the first time!

Vika Jacobson

My name is Vika Jacobson. I am 22 years old. I graduated from the Donetsk National University with a degree in Economics. I am a 2008 graduate of the Jewish Leadership Seminar, Metsuda. Since 2000, I have been an active member in the youth club at the Jewish Agency. I was a madrichah (counselor) of the youth club, “Jewish Friends Club”, and a participant in the project MASA. Participating in this project gives me the opportunity to spend time in the Jewish community, meet new people and help the community through practical activities.
