The crew at dinner in Buenos Aires!
To all our loyal readers,
We have arrived in Argentina. Our trip began early in the morning, at 9:30 AM, with a bus ride from our home in Happy Valley to JFK. Our next leg of the trip was a ten plus hour flight from JFK to Brazil filled with tourists, vacationers, exchange students, locals, crying babies and 20 college students from the greatest university in the world, en route to the best spring break ever. Upon landing in Brazil we were presently surprised to be exposed to some vitamin d, after having sat for 11 hours. After grabbing a delicious Bralizian milkshake (and a quick four hour layover) we boarded our next flight that would bring us to Argentina! We were greeted by our coordinator, Yael, who will be with us for the next week and we couldn’t be happier. After an astonishingly quick bus ride to the hotel, we were briefed by the Director of the JDC in Argentina, Monica. I know it seems like food is a common theme, but once again we were fed a great kosher “snack,” which should had been called a meal. Following our actual dinner, it was back to the hotel to call it a night. Its been a long day and we are all excited for tomorrow’s busy day.
