Young Professionals Service Trip to Sofia, Bulgaria
Dates: June 3-10, 2012
Travel with other Jewish young professionals from across the country on this unique service opportunity. Volunteer on projects to meet communal needs and explore issues of community development & growth in this post-communist society. Enjoy a taste of Bulgaria’s rich & diverse cultural heritage. Sample the cuisine, festivals, and nightlife together with local young leaders.

Inside Jewish Moscow
National Young Professionals Trip to Moscow, Russia
July 1-8, 2012
What does Moscow’s Jewish community look like today? What issues do they face? Join JDC, the world’s largest Jewish humanitarian aid organization, for a trip exploring the renaissance of Jewish life in Moscow and explore what it means to develop Jewish communal life in a post-communist country. Interact with local leaders, connect with Russian peers, and enjoy the region’s culture and cuisine.

Inside Haiti

National Young Professionals Service Trip to Haiti
Dates: April 16-22, 2012
Travel to Haiti with JDC. Gain first-hand insight into challenges facing this country two years after the devastating earthquake and take part in JDC’s humanitarian interventions. Volunteer in areas of medical assistance, educational support and humanitarian relief, and interact with community leaders and recipients of JDC support.

As a refuge from Jews fleeing persecution for more than five centuries, Turkey has a long tradition of fostering a welcoming environment where a self-sufficient Jewish community has been able to sustain a vibrant Jewish communal life.
